Shitsoft into Bettersoft?

Guys I have an Crosman R34(Dont flame me) and I wanted to know if there is a better spring to put in it and extra upgrades. Oh and Im saving for and echo 1 but what model should I buy and where?

It's not worth your money my friend.

Putting a better (I read stronger) spring will surely break your gun quickly.

Crosman airsoft guns are very low quality (cheap plastic) so the body (or mechbox or whatever) wouldn't resist the pressure of a stronger spring for long.

Don't invest money in that thing. Instead, put money aside and buy a real airsoft gun when you will be 18 (if you are not 18 already).

Wait until you are 18 you cannot buy echo 1's from the US, Customs will seize it.

What kind of Crossman Airsoft gun do you have? the new "elite" of airsoft are suppose to be TM Clones with metal gearboxes. If I recall correctly the box should state that the gun can be used for hunting small birds and animals.

yeah, my little bro had one of those crosmans and I did actually manage to get a vsr-10 spring in there but it was a huge pain in the ass and it took like 2 weeks, I had to handle it like heart surgery, one wrong move and the whole gun would break. a week later the reciever started to crack and so did the pull back thing, I machined a metal one and reinforced the reciever with metal strips on the inside. it not any more accurate but it packs a whollop now. but its like a one in a million chance to modify those things properly without destroying the brittle plastic internals unless you have a metal shop.

Echo-1 I think is a pretty swell brand, I have an Echo-1 P90 and its pretty torqui, I also have a CA M4 and TM Ak-47 and I have been preferring to use the p90 more and more. its an awesome entry weapon into airsoft. yeah dont spend your hard earned moolah on crosman. I dont know about what the others on here will say about Echo-1 but I think its a great brand.

but you cant get airsoft from cross border, I bought mine from a friend. Only buy local (within canada) or you will get flagged by customs then every time you travel they'll give you the rubber glove treatment. your best bet is to get AV'd as you gotta be 18+ to buy proper airsoft guns. there are plenty of nice airsoft guns within canada you just have to be old enough sorry, its a process to weed out those who are intending on breaking the law and those who are irresponsible.

IIRC the Stinger R34 is a total piece of garbage and not compatible with anything. Saving up for a quality piece of kit and getting age verified is definitely your best bet.

Back when my dad also owned a kraken he shot a raccoon in a tree and it wouldn't wake up from it's slumber so he went back in took out a red ryder and shot it in the ass and it woke up. No raccoon raided our garbage can for 2 weeks.

Thanks guys I agree with all of you but WHERE DO WE GET ECHO 1's(P90's etc) Because Im soon getting a job(hopefully 15 dollars/hour cause its my uncle) and if I get paid 15 dollars/hour Ill try to work for 8 hrs then I get 120+100+my aunts money+my grandmas money. I want to know where to buy Echo 1's but surplus_ig(i think) sent me a message about his store or something but i havenst seen any echos just isc.

Don't mean to be rude...but as the first replies indicated, you need to get age verified before people on this site will recommend how/where to get stuff.

Read and follow the instructions in the Age Verification threads (they're stickied at the top of forums...and there's links on other sections). It's not hard, take just a bit of time, and it's a one-time process.

It's 18yrs+ only. If you're not 18 years old or older then this site will not help you obtain airsoft rifles/pistols/parts/stuff.

Agreed. The Echo1 P90 is awesome. I don't know about there other guns, but the P90 is win. I love mine.

It's strange it's not suggested more as an entry weapon. It's small, light, cheap (the E90 one), and the V6 mechbox is both reliable and easy as hell to work on. No real downsides other than the size of the mags (same problem with a G36 or UMP though).
