thank you captian obvious - normally you would be right to point that out..... as misplaced a comment like that is in a review post, but take note of his join date, and number of posts... then contrast said information with yours.... you should feel yourself shink a little. obviously CT has proven himself amongst us and deserves the respect not to be belittled about his "age" by a junior member.... |

Well an update is in order:
Month later: Parts are becoming loser as I fiddle around with the gun far too much. Handle is STILL on, but is a bit wobbly, I will probably have to replace it with the guarder pin eventually, but not right now. Same goes for the barrel, although I'm planning to replace that with a guarder SMG kit barrel as soon as it gets here. A part has broken however. Pulling the barrel assembly out of the gun by itself, I accidentally pulled too hard and one of the nibs that holds the plastic locking ring, that in turn holds the hopup dial had broken off. It still works fine, and it still holds in place, just is a problem if I dissasemble the AUG with the hopup unit exposed. Otherwise the AUG is pretty much dead solid. Although I haven't had a chance to tinker with it at all (we're still pretty much baffled as to how to get the mechbox out of the gun itself).

Yeah, I actually don't know what's up with my AUG as I've hardly used it and it seems to be chronoing down to 315 now. Not bad, but still not exactly something I'd like to stick with seeing as I cannot physically get the gearbox out of the gun.
Another thing to note: Another thing has broken down on an AUG: My friend's AUG seems to fire now only in full automatic. He kept his in good condition (far better than my own) nevertheless seems to not respond to the 3mm or so gap in between full forward and full auto.

another good thing with the CA AUG is that it is compatable with the phantom kit.

I think he got it. A while ago, maybe?
Although I just noticed he was calling me 16... Note the age verified tag One thing to note: My foregrip is getting wobbly. I might have to actually go and invest in the Guarder steel pin. But, first thing's first; Just waiting on the Guarder SMG kit's to arrive. Well that, and Classic Army to get off it's lazy ass and make me an AUG A2 reciever! I'm gonna clean up the review and add a few more pictures to it later on. Please stand by.
