Missing 250rpm :|

Hi guys, I had a fuse on my gear box, in french it's call a "thermo lame", like a fuse for a car. I had to remove it because I didn't have enough clearance to close the top cover of my ak. But now I'm at 500rpm compare to 750rpm. Can someone explain me why? Thank you

I take it that it is your LCT AK? If you removed the fuse, how is it even running?

Maybe he just shorted the connection, so he dosent need a fuse. Fuses are optional in any electrical circuit.

that makes no sense at all. I'm guessing you bridged or shorted the connections between the fuse holder. did you directly solder them or use some other type of wire or metal? I've soldered it before as well as pinched the two fuse box contacts together, but never had a significant drop in fps/rpm.

try replacing the fuse and test fire it with the cover off.

almost sounds like a shorted Phase in the motor if so youll be buying another motor unless you can rewind it yourself.

Actually I put a "marette", I don't know the term in enligh, that's a cap that screw 2 wire together. I still have my CYMA fuse on my electric circuit, smaller fuse in a tube.

that still doesn't explain the drop in output unless the wires are poorly connected. replace the fuse and test it.

also, was the battery fully charged?

Yes I charged the battery to the max, I would guess that the wire are poorly connected even if I took great care connecting them together. I'll replace the fuse and see, thank you ^^

Whatever/however you replaced the fuse has added a shitload of resistence to the circuit.

deans is a great option. if your battery is under the top cover, mini deans will work well for space too. just go easy on the solder you let run up the wire. too much makes the wire too rigid and tough to manipulate.
