AK-47 Firing only fully automatic

Okay, so I took my Aftermath Kraken AK-47 apart last night down to the gearbox (I DID NOT DISASSEMBLE THE GEARBOX) and when I put it back together, the fire selector switch did not want to move to the semi-automatic position so I was a little pissed at myself.

This morning I took it apart to the same stage and messed with the outside of the gearbox and reassembled it after I thought I had fixed the problem. It turns out that I did fix the problem of not being able to move the fire selector switch to semi-automatic, but the AEG will still only fire in fully automatic. This is a big problem for me because I play in close urban combat and fully automatic is not allowed.

I will take some pictures tonight of where I think the problem is arising, but I am a noob (notice the username) when it comes to airsoft gearboxes. Any thoughts on how I could fix this?

the first time I broke down my AK47 spetsnaz, I took pictures of the position of the selector switch. I have a strong feeling you reassembled it wrong as it's easy to get wrong.

watch both these videos. if you still have issues, hire a gun doc to fix it.

agreed! make sure the two arm-gears thingy are correctly aligned (its possibe when you reassembled you placed them 1 or 2 gears offset) other than that... cutoff lever malfunction...

I knew it had to be a problem with those 2 pieces. I felt it move incorrectly but I didn't know what it should have looked like in working order so I left it alone.

I got it working in semi-auto again, thanks a bunch guys. I love this community, they actually care about the issues of other players and provide support.
