Get age verified. The answer doesn't change just because you ask it again outside of the newbie forum.

Get age verified, there are some for sale now in the classifieds section, as well as tons of people selling PTWs which use the working bolt catch system as well. You cannot access the classifieds section without being age verified.

Once you're av-ed you can have mine for a million dollars.
Seriously, short of wanting to make a profit, I'm not sure people will be interested in selling, it's a pretty fun gun.

I just have a question that I'm not sure for the SOPMOD. Mine should be at my door soon but I'm still not sure if this gun will be easy to swap the fps for indoor and outdoor game. I still can't find a solid answer on this question yet on google. Thanks in advance.

Cheers !

It doesn't have a quick swap for springs like the ICS M4 or the Systema PTW. You'll have to completely take apart the gearbox in order to change springs.

damn. I really hate to take the gun apart and even I try, I rarely success to do it. That's why I either stick to ICS or PTW. Anyway, that gun look cool and half of the price of GBB rifle. I just can't resist not to buy.

Sorry, but that's incorrect.

The TM SOPMOD has a quick swap spring, or at least fairly quick after modification. One can access the spring simply by removing the buffer tube. It's pretty fast with the SOCOM, since there is no rear battery harness. With the SOPMOD, having to disassemble the battery connector built into the buffer tube slows things down, but it's still much faster than popping out and dissecting a mechbox.

The catch is that the stock TM spring is attached to a weight that's attach to the piston, which you'll have to disconnect by removing the piston from the mechbox. I'm not sure if the piston can be removed without opening the mechbox, one owner of the SOPMOD I've talked to seems to think it is possible. Guess someone has to try. For more information, there are two threads that covers the SOPMOD extensively, one at Arnies and one at ASCUK.

Furthermore, until companies come out with SOPMOD/SOCOM specific springs, you'll have to cut a standard spring in order to fit it into a SOPMOD/SOCOM. Not a big challenge if you know what you're doing.

Link? My roommate says there is no quick swap option.

What you're saying isn't really a quick swap...more of a disassemble the gun and hope that someone you know thinks they know what they're doing while experimenting on a $1200 gun.

Your roommate's wrong.

It's as much a quick spring change function as say, Ares/Star's AR. Remove the buffer tube and the entire spring comes out. If that's not a quick change function, I'm not sure what is.
