"Canadian legal" sniper rifle
Can anyone recommend a good sniper rifle with a clear lower receiver?
Ideally an MK12; bolt action or aeg. (preferably bolt). My budget is around $400.

Are there any? I think the only one I've seen that conforms to field FPS limits (the KJW doesn't, because it's semi-auto) is that shitty ass TSD shell ejecting VSR-10 bastard child.
Anyways, TM G-spec is the best way to go =p. Since you're AVed and have a budget of $400, go fish around in the classfields, you may be able to find a good non-clear one for cheaps. Otherwise, you can use that $400 to convert an AEG you have to a DMR of sorts? |

There you go, buy that, $400 is an excellent deal.

Buy any TSD/Well type 96 or VSR-10, dose not have a clear receiver, 100% legal, and with a paint job looks very clean and is very strong (480 fps).

No such thing, they take after real guns but look just enough like pellet guns to pass.
Besides, for more or less the same price, Maruzen L96 > WELL L96. It's the same thing cosmetically! |

I thought the mk12 is a semi auto sniper rifle to begin with, so your ideal setup isn't likely to be found (bolt action) so an AEG is what you'll have to stick with if you are set on the mk12. Your best bet is to get an M4 or M16 and just get the smaller mag and a longer barrel. Good luck for under $400 though (with the upgrades, G&G M4 runs for about $400+). Just gotta look in the classifieds and hopefully find good deal.

I have seen a few PSG1's go for around $400. Not a bolt action. Is it even possible to have a bolt AEG? From what I figure you can't but I may be wrong.
PSG1 is a BIG gun though. |

He's not asking for a "bolt AEG" He wants a blot action OR an AEG. Ofcourse you can't have a bolt action Automatic Electric Gun.

this one already comes with a 6.04, or if you really want a silencer, making the gun around 1.15 meters long, you can get the CAS version, then a 650mm inner barrel and a silencer. Be warned though, you had better be like 6'3" |

I had a 6.01mm 650mm inner barrel in my last Well 96, it's a pretty hot inner barrel lenght ^^

Be aware than any sniper platform, especially a bolt action, will need a lot of money in good parts to give it any real advantage over an AEG.
