Did you take the barrel out and visually confirm there's nothing in the barrel? If there's still a jam in there, THEN try a different mag and see if it does it again.

Yes, their is NOTHING in the barrel. It is very clean, no dirt no dust.

Makes sense about the hop up rubber too. If its badly torn could be almost flopping down to block the barrel but firirng a few shots flops it back up perhaps. rubber blocking the barrel would make that jammed noise.

okay... I'm gonna ask this jsut in the fact that I think I just worked on a gun that is doing the same thing.. if I've read this incorrectly disregard.
let the gun sit, pick it up.. pull the trigger and the motor sounds like it's trying to wind up the box, the gun/gearbox sounds jammed, couple quick trigger pulls and she's right as rain firing like nothing happened? and it stays just fine till you leave it alone for 15-20 mins or so? if this is the case, it's the trigger contacts. you can try cleaning them.. but your better off just to replace.
