id this bolt action
hey all, i am trying to figure out what rifle this is.
http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLar...AdId=445992995 the lady says its a g&g but says it is spring powered? I thought their l96/g96 was gas powered? Anyone know if they ever made a spring one and if it is compatable with the standard tm type upgrades? thanks in advance.

Well.
The G&G has the mag in the correct position. It's a clone of the ARES. It can be spring powered, but the mag is still there. So yeah, Well |

It's not g&g, I have the gas version, g&g made it a remake of a Remington 700 on an AICS chassis. The bolt looks different aside from that its a Well I bet.

I sell these. They're marketed as "G&G", but really they're WELL or whoever makes them in China.
How much are they asking? |

same price as you (200) i was gonna offer 150 and inform them they are 200 bnib tho im still debating as im not sure if i wanna go through the effort of building another bolt action atm.
when she said it was a g&g at first i was thinking it was a gas g96 i wouldda scooped ot up fast at that price but then she replied to my seccond msg and i realized it wasnt actually a g&g. So im not too egar to buy it and then dump 3-4 bills on building it up to make it fieldable.

And yes they are standard L96 internals.
There's only really two main spring sniper platforms that have a bunch of upgrades for them, VSR's and L96's. |

ya me knows alrdy built a vsr back in the day, its my primary for the last 4 years or so, gettin lil bored of it tho it is my favorite ba due to the simplicity of the design and the non futuristic look, i mean it looks like 9 outta 10 other bolt action rifles lol. The l96 is decent looking but its got that futeristic look to it.
