Hey guys, ive been looking to get a decent stock sniper(going to upgrade it over time) and I was wondering what your thoughts about it is? Good stock sniper to start with? I've always been a fan of the m24 platform.

Good starter platform, cheap, well bult, playable out of the box, compatible with APS2 parts. 1st thing you should upgrade is the hop-up bucking. But theres some srews you have to thighten (hop-up) and teflon tape mod does the job also. mine is shooting 440fps so perfect below 450fps. Good quality BBs 0.36g is perfect.

Saw a review of the internals and I saw that the piston and spring guide is plastic? I assume upgrading that would be good? Also, what about the spring itself?

Upgrade everything over time but Hopup bucking and hopup unit right away, took allot of carefull filing to get rid of the hard right hook in mine caused by chopping bbs as they were loaded in the chamber.

Not yet, I haven't got around to replacing them yet just know they are the cause of my issues with the gun, I have plenty of very accurate guns so I've been VERY casually working on my m24.

I got my Javelin M24 out of the box and it got loaded with sand inside the piston the first game I got it: be weary of conditions playing.
