I have the source rider 3L, awesome hydration system, especially with the uta adapter. Highly recommend source products. Worth every penny.

I have a UTA, and it works great for filling the hydro bag without pulling the bag out. Attach the bottle and squeeze. No back flow since it's fitted with one-way valves. They're my go-to for hydro gear now - everything else can't hold a candle to their design. |

Horto...
I have 2 source hydration bladders now...UTA, plus extra tubes, etc... It's my go-to system now. I got all my stuff from MEC. It's blue bag/tube, orange/green plastic...but not a big deal to me. I used a old ?Pantac? hydration tube cover. There's a black thermal tube cover too. Cannot beat the super easy, simple-stupid top slide to get into the bag...big standard water filter screw top opening...no leak quick disconnects. The UTA works. I even put it on my kitchen sink tap and turned up the pressure too much...the rubber flexi-bit stayed on the tap and just ballooned up (vs popping off exploding all over the kitchen)! Got the UTA (it's blue) at MEC. Comes with a QD bite valve and QD for your tube as well. No taste to water. I have only used water in mine. I've left water in it (with as much air removed as possible) for 2 weeks and it was still potable. The 2L fits most packs/bags/etc...well when it's filled up. The 3L is pretty big and when you stuff it into the "hydration" part of a non-stiffened pack it'll bulge into your back pretty good. I moved my 3L out of the hydration sleeve part and into the main pack section of my smaller hydration pack and it's all good. edit...sorry for going on a bit...didn't see that you already use them LOL |

Looks great. Do you know if they sell just the hydration carrier without the bladder? I'm asking as I already have that exact same bladder, just missing the carrier.

Tys, glad you didn't explode water all over the kitchen. Wifey probably wouldn't have been impressed.

If you mean from source-military, I'd recommend just emailing them that question. They're pretty good on comms. Just remember to factor in the time zone difference.

Yeah I ordered right from source-military.com, fast and cheap shipping. UTA is awesome, it's my go to refilling method. Tho, careful because more than once I've accidently pulled the UTA off the water bottle and made a mess through stupidity. :-)

Got my carrier from source shortly after the rider (lo-profile) was released. It's basically falling apart. It's certainly not sewn to the same standards as milspec gear like LBT, HSGI etc
