m92 mag compatibility

Hi, im a new member, so if accessories isnt the best place for this question then kindly move it

Im currently waiting on a Western Arms M92FS GasBB pistol in the mail, but it does not include a mag.
My question is whether a TM, or other company's M92FS mag is compatible, as I havent found a similiar WA anywhere online. Id also be interested in whether overall, different manufacturers mags are compatible for the same make and power of gun.

nope, wa mags ue a different valve system with a different external layout. generally japanese manufacturers are not cross compatible in terms of mags. you'll have to buy a wa mag to use in your wa gun

*Edit* Rob beat me to it...

Its a magazine, not a clip, some people here on ASC get annoyed when people mix the two up, just warnin ya

AEG mags are cross compatible for the most part but GBB mags are not. As far as I know there are only two instances where mags are cross compatible. WE-tech hi-capas can use TM hi-capa mags and some KJW guns can use the appropriate TM mag but dont work too well together. Other than the WE guns using TM mags your just a lot better off getting the mags specific to your gun from the same manufacturer.

shame about the compatability. after taking your comments about using 'magazine' rather then clip, ive now found lots of stores selling m92 mags. thanks!
