ILLusion, do you have any experience/comment on Private Parts Airsoft springs?

Any chance of adding bolt action springs?

Hook me up with an APS-2, a VSR-10, and whatever bolt action variant that uses unique springs, plus a set of all those super expensive springs that require testing, and I'd gladly do it.

:P

Unfortunately, a much larger commitment is required to test bolt action springs - the biggest thing being a financial burden.
AEG springs are easy for me to test - they work in almost all AEG platforms and they can be quickly and easily sold afterwards. BAs, on the other hand, the springs can cost twice as much (or more), and with less BA users, there is a much lower demand on them, especially for the varied velocities from a spring test.

But luckily, I'm getting some springs for someone who is gracious enough to test springs for APS2, Super9, M40, M24, etc.

I'd be willing to do it as myself, but unfortunately, I can't afford the financial setback.

I figured as much. For what it's worth, I can post up the results I get with my CA M24. Trying to get as close to 480fps as possible.

I'm going to be upgrading the hell out of mine. The parts list is not pretty, and some of this stuff is getting hard to find. :/

The store where I work has some PPA springs. They seem to shoot fairly hard. I put a PPA 110 in a TM G3SG1 with a AREA1000 Polycarb piston head, Madbull tightbore, TM hop-unit with Systema bucking, and I got 380fps out of it.

Just a little tidbit of info. I put a Systema M120 in my AUG, and expected to get about 370-380 because you (Illusion) got 392 with an entirely upgraded gun. But I just had my first game with it, and it chronies 400! I'm assuming this can be attributed to the longer barrel length vs. your P90.

Sure, if you buy me all the springs and pay for my time to run through the tests again. I had way more time back when I did the original chart - not anymore.

No, I don't. Sorry. In Canada, we have very limited use with such springs and without sponsorship, it was not a valid exercise for me to test springs that powerful.
