Just two quick updates to bump the thread, that's the model so far. I've already brought out the details in it by now, I'm going to figure out how to properly mirror it, and then fix up the other side to remove certain things that should be on the left side. I will have a finished model.. probably sometime tommorow.

That's the idea, it's to overlap on the outside.

When you are done how hard would it be to change it to take other glock pistols and how much do you estimate the cost to be?

'Fraid it wouldn't work with a G19, as we'd have to make it bigger- but if there's enough of a market for it, I'm sure we could make another that's been scaled for a G19, a G18C, or any Glock you can think of.

Pricing is unconfirmed as of now- how much would you reasonably pay for one?

Do it! I'm sure there's enough G19 users out there.

And I'd pay up to 450.. This depends heavily on how solid this unit is.. and how well it holds up to being fielded.

HAHAHHAHAA. Sure thing, but I doubt we'd ever mark it up to 450. We're not Mark Anderson

LOL..

Y'know, sometimes, you get so used to overpaying... it just kinda gets into yer brain.

Are you planning any other projects, non-glock related? Perhaps.. 1911 oriented?

Y'know- hell, I don't see why one of these things can't be done with a 1911- in fact, it'd probably be neat (but stupid-looking, I'd admit that). I can see it being done with anything, in varying sizes.

We've got nothing solidly planned, but we're quite open to ideas.

I was curious if this project was ever finished?
I'd like to make one, but it is a daunting task.

he was building this WELL before the pts version was ever thought of but I doubt it would be even remotely worth you time/money to build a half assed looking one over just buying the pts version.
