Agreed... there are hundreds of grades of steel. Saying something is "steel" might say something, but when you're dealing with low price, chances are, you're also dealing with low grade. Some steels are extremely brittle, some are very tough, some have high tensile strength, some are lower, some machine well, some don't, some corrode more than others and the list goes on...

aaannnd by looking at the pictures of the unpainted gun it looks like it's entirely built off monkey metal!

oh well we'll see how it holds up

im getting one i was going to get a we but this is much better i will probaly end up taking it apart and machining a lot of new parts out of 4140 or 660 rockwell to make most of the parts more durable. but i shure hope that they arnt bsing when its wa parts will work cuz i want ra tech upgrades.

FYI although it may appear that the WA design is much better people don't realize that the WE was based off of the Escort System, it's just unfortunate that AFC had to market the design to WE.

Look into the Escort design and how it works, you will see why air-smiths like DaytonaGun still make these guns and the sales are very successful.

rumor from a Taiwanese site is that someone had already broke one of the AGM bolt....

Wonder how long before the news come around of various breakage of these guns...

yes i understand how they work they are more robust and better, but the whole bolt thing throws me off i was going to get one but i decied against it as id rather get a gun cheeper like this but even if it was a collecters/tinker i have the time and equipment to machine out anything i need im allmost thinking of taking it apart and machining the guts out and just ponying up the money to get it in s7 tool steel and then heat treated and then anodized.ect that way i know they are rock solid, agian this is me i get bored i like to tinker and machine so works out for me. But the modifyed escourt system is far better

For those of you busting nozzles, maybe give the "airsoft surgeon" or G&P white nozzle a try. I get about 1-2 jams every skimirsh day and that thing is rock solid, no deformtiy at all.

Sorry, by nozzle I meant it is a complete bolt set. However, I'm not sure about fitting in a Ra tech bolt carrier as I dont own one yet.

Meh,

even a full replacement Airsoft Surgeon bolt kit is under 100 USD. At Canadian conversion you get 1200 to play with in parts before breaking even with the G&P rifle.
