I called MOPIC by phone and he responded to my questions without any problems. Very good customer service, this is my opinion.

huh ! I always heard people complain about mopic but I had like 4 deal with him and never got a single problem, all package always arrive like 3 or 4 day after payment clear also the good thing is I always get extra thing come with the package. It's maybe just my luck but just my two cents, I'm pretty sure that it's not less than like 10 or 20 e-mail per day order stuff from him so patient is good thing to do still if something wrong, he refund your money back as well.

MOPIC as something other Canadian dealers don't have... metal airsofts, from GBB to AEG. I can't find any dealers that has full metal aeg.

there are tons of retailers who have those, you just have to be age verified to see them

You mean on ASC forum? Because what would be the deal with all the clearsoft receiver from G&G?
And on MOPIC you can see them without being age verified. You have to be age verified for ordering them. Any links to those retailers please? |

From my observation, you'll get your AEG or you will get your money back, mopic just sometimes has a spotty comms record. I am not his apologist, but I know as a retailer its takes tremendous discipline to get up each morning and respond to all the email, PMs quote requests etc, and then do your collecting and shipping. If you have a family emergency or business that takes you out of the cycle, everyone goes apeshit. But as I said, I am not apologizing for him, I'm just giving you a possible explanation as to why it happens. And it seems that others have had that happen. With mopic's job, I am not surprised. As someone else suggested, he should get a Blackberry.
But, you should be age verified if you're going to engage in discussions like this on ASC. You're using ASC to try and resolve this but you've not done this deal with mopic through ASC. If you get age verified you'll have access to the classifieds and others who are selling out of their private collections and you'll have more choice, and more importantly, you'll have the weight of the forum members and administration fully behind you if something doesn't transact right - but you did this deal outside of this structure of accountability that we all voluntarily submit to to protect the sport so I have no way of knowing who you really are since you've not been vouched for by an AVer. Whats worse is you may be underage, but again, we don't know that, you have not even included your location in your profile which is also suspicious. Get AV'd and disclose your location on your profile, you're not helping your credibility otherwise. Thats my advice. |

Very nice the way you wrote this. In fact I am age verified on Mopic, I was thinking that this was enough. And I don't have to go somewhere to be it, just sent my driver license and informations to him. Since I don't love airsoft guns for actualy playing on the field with them, I don't see the point to go to a game to show my driver license. But I will if it is the only way on internet, in Canada, to have acces to full metal quality airsofts.
And I did get my gun, I just find it weird that Mopic told me a couple of times that it was shipped (first time the 20 october) when it's written on the parcel "shipped 16 december from Ontario". That's all, communication with him was a lot confusing for me. Their is also this quote, on his website, saying that after 21 working days you can have a refund, wich didn't work at all for me. |

As for telling you its shipped, again like Scarecrow Im not apologizing on mopics behalf but I can only imagine how much volume of sales he goes through, so It isn't all impossible for him to get shipping info mixed up. I mean I went to the post office once with 6 items to mail out, I had no idea what each tracking was to each item. As it was several hours later when I got around to telling people I had shipped their items. I had to go back and search through my pms to look at each postal code individually on the recite. As more people use him, there's going to be more feedback, and some of that is going to be negative, but I mean it is to be expected as he is a one man show, but that also doesn't make it right. You can probably find a local verifier, but without knowing any details about you or where you live, we can't help you find one. I didn't realize you'd gotten your order. Good. Keep in mind, the only full time retailer here, really, is ArmyIssue, and he sells a lot of pants. For the rest of us, this is a moonlight gig, part hobby, part passion, part stupidity. If I tried to make BBs a business, I'd shortly be serving them to my 4 year old with his Cheerios. The point is, if you follow the rules here, you can benefit from the community thats been created and the social pressures that are your protections from predatory business practices or practices that put our sport at risk - we take them very seriously here and while they don't have force of law, they are quite effective and are probably one reason why the sport hasn't been completely banned from Canada. |
