And furthermore, Mark posted himself both on the JSOC and MAA forums that he's stopping import of AEGs and GBBs in march, this is no rumor. |

Im kinda freaking out right now. I literally just got into the sport, i have a gun en route, and i have lots more plans in the future for more guns. if i can't get any, then well... i dont know how long i will be in this sport. that being said, wont Shootsoft then start importing real AEGs (TM and CA)?

And then there were none
So... the change in enforcement policy.. finally takes down the last public source for airsoft guns.
The issue is not " this is going to increase prices" .. the issue is now there will be no ready source for guns at all.. at any price. New players are going to find the bar much higher for entry into this activity.

this has happened before? then what happened after that? a new supplier came onto the scene?
EDIT: so its kinda like the matrix movies in that a new "One" appears and brings balance to everything? |

It's happened numerous times in the last two years. Retailers shutting down either voluntarily or non-voluntarily.
XP/Specarms, Warcraftgames.ca, ASC Armoury, M1 Airsoft, Rangers Airsoft, Double Edge Airsoft, 007 has already shut down once before, and now A&A. Pretty sure I missed a couple others in there too. |

Cash in your RRSPs and buy hardware to re-sell in a few months time when the snow melts.

No its not your imagination... but that would be because real guns are not prohibited devices... so you can be licensed to buy them and own them..

so after we get past this dark period, there will be a stable importer of airsoft (i.e. TM, CA etc), or at least that is how it has been in the past correct?

They said that's the way it's happened before. No certainty for the future.
