Ill proballoy modify for propane due to the fact that its 5$ for a can instead of 15-20$

Also the gun im getting has a "leaking mag" im assuming its from running propane without glueing the release valve.. think this is a good bet?

check the seals. see if the 3rd retarded mag pin was drilled then gasket sealant was used.

Green gas IS propane. And yeah use propane.

Use the heaviest weight you can for GBB's, generally 0.28's.

yeah but the mk23 is odd, and doesnt like the higher pressure. so duster has to be used unless the mags are modded

The only place i can find Y&P Mags that Will ship to canada is Evike, which has tuns of bad reviews so its a last resort.. has anyone found a good source for Y&P/STTI mags within canada or someone better to deal with outside of canada?

The Tm socom mk23 is what gave me the pistol rep I have today. If you cant find the mags you desire just repair the ones you have. After I repaired mine ( thanks still go to "ibby" for the original repair idea ) I was able to get 150bbs with one mag charge of green gas. No joke,I actually counted. I was also able to use the socom in ANY weather, one time at Bigfoot it was so cold the mags had frost on them and I was still getting kills! I would recomend staying with green gas mostly because this pistol is cheap to run and you can easily carry a can of green gas in a pouch. Also, dont mod the lam unit bulb,In my original lam unit I swapped out the white led for a blue one and was virtually undetectable by other players until it was to late. The lam unit is designed to give off low light to help you get where you are going without totally ruining your night vision or give you away.

My two cents.

Good call withthe lam, maybe i wont swap in a super bright flash light!

As for mags im only getting one leaky one with the gun which i will try and fix, the holster i ordered holds 2 spares, so it would be nice to order them.. just trying to find some propane ready mags so i dont have to hack/mod brand new ones
