Thanks guys... yes I need the base plates but it seems when I order parts I always forgot that part and I mean ALWAYS!
Anyway like RM comment I'd prefer it with a smaller size grip or even better single stack but I haven't seen any of those for TM yet so... I'm happy with it like this! Wolf

Just Built One....Kind of finish...still thinking i should get the prime SV Aluminum grip when it available again. it shoots great! will do a field test later on....Main parts are from Prohandguns, CP, Nova.

Let me know what you guys think... built it with a bunch of spare parts a guy gave me when i bought another gun from him used...
WE Base SD springfied armory v12 slide Cmore serendipity Red Dot Comp Ready outer Barrel 5KU Compensator AIP cocking handle STI Magwell I'm thinking of making the Comp silver to make it look better... and getting an extended inner barrel... Also, the gun doc that help me put this together took off the original fixed front sight so it can cycle. I feel like I defaced this beautiful SD slide, so does anybody know how to fix it? |

The CMore is mounted too far forward. Properly mounted, it can comfortably co-exist with a front sight in place.
As far as I can tell, you're running the Springfield V12 slide... if you have access to a mill, and a dovetail bit, you could cut in a new channel to install a standard front sight, but because of the porting on the V12 slide, finding the right place to put the dovetail will be difficult, and it will likely look awkward. I would say the slide is no longer usable in any other capacity than how you have it now. |
