you can try some teflon tape on the threads to take up a bit of the space. but it might require a lot if the threads are that bad.

It doesn't wobble much, but just enough to make my OCD kick in.

Sorry if my suggestions seem a little harsh, I simply did something very similar to what your describing with my G36.

It just turned into a money-pit. Nothing fit anything else.

Ended up scrapping the gun, and buying a G&P.

Never looked back.

Simply don't want to see another new player make the same mistake.

up to you. the less it moves, the less it's likely to hit the inside of the silencer.

I have yet to "shim" any of my TB's and none hit the inside of a silencer.

I did the same with a UTG MP5 and a TM M4. but I didn't scrap them and now they are both FMU's with rock solid internals. all that's left of the original AEG's are the full stocks. hahaha.

money pits? could be considered that. would I do it again? maybe. lol

Well, I havnt invested much into this ak.

rail system (can be fitted on any other ak)
scope (same thing.)
silencer (same thing.)
barrel bipod (same thing)

So I guess I've been taking it smart so far.

Yet, I still have to go to a real game. Bahaha.

Why would you ever need such a long barrel?
I don't understand people that hide barrels in silencers. A quality 363mm barrel is JUST as accurate as a quality 650mm barrel, might as well use the sound dampening silencer as another advantage.

Case and point, my VSR-10 is just as accurate as Amos' and it was almost half as long.
Case and second point, my HFC beretta outranged and was more accurate than any stock AEG, and it had a 6.08 barrel less than 80mm in length.

COMPRESSION, its all about COMPRESSION!
Your actually getting less accuracy in a barrel thats at the maximum length for your cylinder, than a barrel thats at the minimum length of the cylinder.
So say full cylinder can take a barrel 470-590mm, then you'll be better off using a 470mm barrel

Oh wow, I never knew that. Thats a really good point. Maybe I should just pick up a smaller barrel.

Also, permission to laugh my ass off, at your name?

Bahahah. Well, thanks for all the replies guys. Looks like I'll probably hold off on all the internal and barrel upgrades until this gear box dies. Then I'll go from there. Just gotta wait till I get my VISA then I'll get a nice scope (3-9x40) and a bipod. mmm

btw. that wobble in the silencer may because your front site is loose... iirc my tm does that as well. the threads are part of that peice. i am not looking at it right now so my recollection may be foggy.

The front sight is not wobbly. Its the threading on the outerbarrel thats causing the wobble. As the silencers threading is:

O

and the AK's threading is:
._
(_)

A circle silencer end, going over a messed up circle thread.

"Compatible with Real Sword SVD Series Airsoft AEG"

So I'd say no.
