That pin holds the safety in place. The safety also acts as the sight. It has to be flipped up in order to shoot. Just like the real thing! w00t.

Post your questions about the airsoft tank and I will relay them to the 2 designers as they are friends of mine living here in CA.

but he specifically points out the hole in the framework of the "rocket" and the safety/sight of the base during assembly. What I am asking is once the pin has been removed to fire, can the "rocket" fall off the frame? or is there something else to hold it together?
