Yeah that's true. But I only shoot in semi in cqb. It's a field rule so that suits me fine

Well I'm playing on Saturday so look for the idiot with p90 with the large silencer and insane rate of fire lol. I have another problem though... My mags empty too fast!!! Boooooo!!!
Oh well I guess it's the gay m4 mag conversion for me haha!!! |

hmmm - just a quick update - i changed to deans connectors today and noticed another boost in ROF. Can anyone explain why?
also is there gonna be any danger using a battery that has a continuous discharge rate of 20C as opposed to 15C??? |

Less resistance on deans than on tamiya mini/large connectors.
Can't help you with the C discharge rate. Don't know enough about lipo batteries.

C x Capacity (in aH) = Discharge Rate (A)
What this means is that the higher the C rating, the higher it's maximum discharge rate. So say you have a 20C battery at 1100 mAh. 20 x 1.1 = 22A For a 15C 15 x 1.1 = 16.5A The heavier the spring, the higher C rating OR capacity you want to get to properly be able to run the gun. If you're going lipo and pulling a heavy spring, get a battery that can deliver at least 25A or higher. I used 1100 mAh as an example. Substitute your own battery capacity to get your own number. That will give you incredibly rapid trigger response and give you a high rate of fire.

thanks guys, very helpful. Crunch that would also explain why I noticed a further ROF boost with the 20C - i use a 15C 1500MAh and a 20c 1600MAh so with those equasions obviously the 20C is gonna pull the spring faster
