I have TM, Magpul 120 midcaps, and King arms 68 rds mags. m

They are all excellent. The bang for buck is King arms, you have a higher chance of lemon mags that need to be modified.

I love that site for parts.
I'm thinking of ordering the Star 10-pack in black with the H&K trades printed on them. Works out to about $80 CAD shipped to my door with the exchange rate. I'd still like to get metal ones but it seems hard to find locap metal ones for cheap. I should just get off my lazy ass and get AV'd. I hear there are loads in the classifieds.

[edit] I just ordered the Star 10-pack from ehobby. $53 CAD and change delivered to my door in about 10 days. Best deal I could find. Couldn't find any metal locaps for anything close to that price.

Really? Locap metal mags in Canada for $10 each? Can you give me the link?

I just received my Star Mags from Ehobby. Amazing. I ordered them 6 days ago, got them in the mail already. For about $53, I can't complain. Ten black mags with the H&K trades on them. They feel ok, hold about 30 or so rounds, just like I wanted. Good feed, only one or two wasted BBs. The only quirk about them is they don't drop when I hit the mag release. A little tug is required, but not a big deal.

I'd still like to get some locap metal mags for $10 each though.....

I always found the MAG mids brilliant. The only perceptible flaw I could find was they had a seam that would split if you try to load too many BBs.
Haven't had as much experience with STAR, but their realcaps are all right, and their MP5 mids are much better then the MAG ones.
I also have some DBoy mags, 68 rds and 10 USD (sorry, dunno how much it'd be in CAD) a pop. The QC is off and size can vary. Reliability is marginal at best.
