Yeah, that's a lemon for sure. My 552's reticle looks fine. Nothing like that monstrosity. For the money, it's excellent.

Now it is the truth time. As long as you unfocu the camera and then you
can make the rectile as big as you like in the picture.!!!! I just had people take the same picture of the same batch 553. Here is the real reticle of the 553 Here is the reticle of the 553 taken when the camera does not focus I have no idea how Cap Flan's pictures got taken. I TOLD him it is the same as G&P 553 and asked him to read the review in the review section regarding G&P 553. There might be slight ghosting when the brightness set to high. As a ASC retailer I stand behind my products and I tried my best to let customers know issues of the products upfront as much as possible. It is alright post negative review on a product, but please, TELL THE TRUTH. When the product got return to me. I will take picture of the rectile myself. I see friggin 8 circles uncentered all over the place that make it look like a big circle all blurred up.
This is the truth. Maybe the camera is not able to make a perfect focus but heh. I am sorry Huang to post this but this eotech is not working properly and if I can make people not buying it I am sorry for that. Consequently they may start to make better one for us to finally have something worthed to buy. No hard feelings. You probably where not aware of this anyway. But all that do not change the fact that the levers do not work properly. We talk soon.

And by the way you clearly see in my pictures that the focus was totally clear and perfect. The front of the device is totally clear. Not like your staged one. If I can't make a clear focus whit my bear eyes it means the optics are not working properly. If the camera focus has to compensate to get a clear dot we still have a problem do we...
And I am sorry Huang... I will not drive 8 hours to check out a scope... Very happy whit anything I bought from you so far. I hope we stay in good terms. It just appears that I got a lemon. No biggies. Saving for the real steel now. Hehe...

to focus on the reticle you need to set your focus point dead on the reticle. not on the control panel of the eotech itself. this is because the projected ret is not on the same focal plain as the control panel (if you can picture it in your mind sideways).
try takin a pic with the ret in focus and not the rear control panel and then we will decide how bad it is. Cheers |

I got to field both sights yesterday at an indoors game at the Mill and was quite pleased with both of them. Both performed very well and I would highly recommend either to anyone for indoors use.
As I mentions before, the Huang sight has less ghosting. That made it a joy to use. It's thinner, sharper reticule was great and easy to see. The light ghosting was not a distraction in any way. The sight I used most though was the HurricanE mounted on my MP5. It performed flawlessly. With the varying light conditions at the Mill, the auto brightness feature was a major bonus. It would always adjust to the ideal brightness level. I never had to touch the controls during the day except to once turn it back on because of the 2-hour auto shutoff. The ghosting, while more apparent than on the Huanc sight, was really not noticeable. One point though - when goggles are fogging, I find the smaller, sharper sight on the Huang sight easier to see. While the larger, fatter HurricanE reticule is easier to see in "normal"conditions, it tends to blur more with foggy googles.

Btw - I would highly recommend anyone who has a EOTech replica r even the real deal to get a polycarbonate lens protector. In my first engagement withy MP5, I got a direct hit to my sight. I'm sure I would have a broken sight now had it not been for the protector.

I have a Huang 552, it is clear and good reticle (in the house at least). I picked up a polycarbonate lense for it. Thing won't fit on, and with it held in place, it's very blurry to look thru. I was just gonna take my chance and run it without next year. In my 2 years, I don't think I've ever taken a gun hit there.
