Blackthrone, Yes, I would like the diamansions (as details as possible.). I don't think I will actually cone it but details helps a lot.
Qlong, no, I can't get my hand on any CNC. I can only borrow a vertical mill and most of my works are done by hand tools only. Captain Insano, Yes, actually, before I start the whole thing, I am intended to build a full length wooden stock around a broken G3. After sawing the JAE-100, I discard the G3 parts, but still I have many aluminum and wood parts laying around. So I decided to replace the plastic finish of the JAE-100 with wood. I nearly screw up the whole as the epoxy with aluminum dust do not hold during screw cutting. I need to rework nearly the whole thing again... Next time (if any) I will go for a single piece of aluminum block which is wide enough for the job to make the main frame instead of 4 pieces... |
