expensive and harder to get parts for....but I've heard they are accurate guns....they don't take propane as well though...

In terms of quality, TM is definitely better, but I like my KJW M9 best. Other than mags and trigger springs that are known to break, the only other real problem that I know of is that after a lot of shooting, slides can crack. If this is the case, then it's not that big a problem because metal slides that fit the TM M9 also fit on the KJW. So you can upgrade to a better quality slide if necessary.
As for WA, they're beautiful guns, reliable, and shoot accurately. However, I don't like duster pistols. And they're also expensive as hell compared to other brands. Depending which one you get, upgrade or repair parts are next to impossible to source. If you buy a WA, for the most part, you're pretty much stuck shooting on duster and stuck with the stock gun. My WA guns are strictly collector's pieces.

The slide from my TM G17 has cracked.
Still shoots fine, if you ask me. Long story about how it cracked, I don't think it was due to running propane since I rarely shot it.

Plastic on GBBs is actually a good thing. You'll get better cycle times and gas duration. Yeah, they don't feel or look like steel but I have not shot a better GBB. I have a 5.1 hi-capa and with .23g I can hit a man at 100ft without much effort. This is a huge advantage when you need something small that you can rely on. With green gas they get a little noisy but must guns do to some degree. Its a dream in CQB especially when breaching doors. Other than that, they have one of the biggest selections of after market parts and TM parts are still available if you look long and hard. +1 TM hi-capa 5.1 |

Another factor is what gun would fit your hand the best.
For example, I have relatively smaller hands and I use a 1911 because of the slim frame. It fits my hand perfectly. I have also used a KSC G19 and it fit my hands well too. If you have bigger hands, then a gun like an M9 with a beefier grip would be ideal. |

TM 1911 performs much like their 2011(thats Hi-Capa for you) style cousin, good hop-up, easy take-down and maintenance. Only think missing is that metal mid-frame for the Hi-Capa...It takes propane stock too.....only real downside is gas capacity, which due to single stack frame it can I think hold less gas than it can hold BBs(25 I think). Lots of upgrades available too for any 1911/Hi-Capa gun from TM.... |

How is the KSC glocks versus the KJWs? |

It really is a personal (ammo & gas or a slim frame) choice but if its any help, I don't usually use but a few shots at a time with my pistol unless I'm just using it by itself. 31rnds last me a while but 20 could do it as far as a full load. BTY, Fobus evolution 1911 holsters will take a hi capa with a slight mod to the trigger cover. The 2011 trigger frames are rectangular opposed to the round 1911 frames. If you have a shooting range or a quality gun shop you could fondle a few to get a better picture. Para-Ordinance and Kimber both make 2011 frames and 1911's are pretty easy to find. Even a 9mm Llama would do for a grip comparison. If you don't plan to upgrade, a 1911 should be comparable if you like the slim frames. Other wise, I think the Hi-capa offer a bit more. Sry, I'm a bit biased. |

KJW glocks are clones from TM glocks
KWA glocks are clones of KSC glocks i'd go for KWA over KJW. |

KSC vs KJW was also answered in my thread. If you don't like the design of the Hi-Capa, I recommend any of TM 2nd generation GBB, All of these are based off of the Hi-Capa internals (the first of the 2nd gen GBB's). EDIT: check out the "help me my gun doesnt work" forums.

I'd go with western arms. Parts are harder to come by but the quality is amazing... The only downside is that their guns go obsolete in about 3-4 years...
