I like it but is the inner barrel extended all the way to the suppressor or is it just for show?
I haven't seen any LMGs with suppresors before but I like it

For clarification, the the Shrike isn't *really* an LMG. It's a belt-fed M4. You haven't seen one with a supressor before because you haven't seen a Shrike before
Yes, the barrel goes all the way to the end of that supressor. |

That is relevant to my interests and I would like to subscribe to your news letter. That thing kicks so much ass.

Well "belt fed M4", it's alot closer to a 249 or the new IAR rifle than an M4 because it fires from an open bolt. Depends what part of the gun your comparing I guess
So do you have an accurate weight for this thing? I'm pretty skeptical of it weighing 17lbs lol |

THAT is the six! Err, I mean the sex! Lol
Great job Rob, is a real bruiser of a gun you have there. As for the weight, my CA M24 is roughly 14-16lbs, so I can see that thing weighing close to or a bit more than that. |

I'll have to jump on the scale with it to make sure, but I think 17lbs is about right.
Collosal Comedy? When we put it together we installed a sling plate between the receiver and the stock tube. Well, oh, uess what's exactly in the way of the charging handle assembly? Sigh....Oh, for those that don't know the charging handle is on the left, and you cock it back to expose the hopup assembly. So my hopup is pretty much hard-set until I pull the stock off and remove the plate. Another couple of notes on the HurricanE Shrike kit: - No furniture supplied. This is odd for a metal body. As a result, aftermarket metal parts kits need to be used, and some of these need some doctoring to fit correctly. - No pistol grip either, but that's not unusual. - The metal hopup that comes with the unit is CRAP. We broke it just trying to install the adjustment wheel screw. Replaced it with a another unit I had here. - Barrel threading is CW. Good to know, eh? - Otherwise, went together very smoothly. |
