Well atleast your getting something more out of the sour deal. But those cross draw tac vests are hardly worth 90 dollars. But well, coupled with the p90 atleast its something. Personally I would have just wanted my money back.

Hahaha they gladly obliged to giving you those two items cause that TAC Vest is probably only worth $50 to them and that P90 is ABSOLUTE $HI7. You should've just asked for money.

I'd have to aggree, but they only offered me a $220 credit (including shipping), the tac vest and P90 are most definitely more than the $220 shipping inclusive.

I'd have only gotten around $113 dollars back If I had chosen a refund. Instead I got the Tac Vest I wanted, and a gun I can sell for $160.

Their Tac Vests are kinda expensive, but I've tried finding them for less and I have not seen any locally.

You obviously don't realize how BAD quality the FirePower P90 is. You should've gotten the Tac Vest at least and than $$$ back.
That Tac Vest is a UTG one I can get it for $80 Shipped from Ottawa.

I had issues with BuyAirsoft.ca when they first came out, they treated me well because I was promoting them here ... when they were still getting REAL airsoft guns. I purchased a gun, turned out it was a different brand than what it really was .. I told them that ...than I ordered another gun ...when it arrived it turned out to be someone elses gun. So after having to mail it back and all I got the actual gun I ordered, and due to the mix up of the first gun I bought from them they sent me the gun I thought I was buying ...on top of that free XpressPost shipping

I know how bad it is. Again, it's not for me to use. My "Kraken" has proven itself repeatedly in the field. and still serves me well, I'll use it till it breaks and save up in the meantime for a good M4.

The P90 will stay in it's box and be sold to someone that just wants a cheap AEG in my club. I bought a cheaper gun at first, (My Kraken). I was unsure if I was going to get into the sport. It will enable them to get a taste for an AEG.

Maybe I'll just use it as a loaner.

Hey Styrak, I bought something from them, but I'll definitely think twice before doing that again.

Your P229 is sweet, I have the P226 version.

I was being facetious, because GreyFox's question was dumb and obvious. But yes I love my P229! Is the 226's kick as hard as the 229? Or harder?

i think the kick of the 226 is harder than the 229...well the 226's slide is heavier and bigger creating more blowback force (kick). Also i have a enhanced recoil spring in it so the kick gives everyone smiles.

ISC M-16,Clone...M-14....AK74....2XG36C...2XJG/18C....WE/HI-CAPPA...HFCM-9. Is what we got from them this spring.

all still going strong, got what I paid for, needless to say considerable less than any other Canadian retailer selling the same items, their e-mail response normally 1-3 days, shipping 3-5 days with tracking, always got a free bag of BBs or something small (sometimes cheap crap but)

From what I understand they got their PP slapped for bringing black airsoft in as paintball, but thats is just what I heard, they told me in the new year for black ones again, we will see, since their troubles I have only bought a CO2 bb pistol (works fine) but wont look at the clear stuff (maybe the Kranken?) but again you get what you pay for, we are happy with the ICS and JG's that we got! at $100 less (JG G36C's for $270) than guys selling them on ASC or the retailers I am not complaining!! But I hope they come back with similar prices, we need the competition, being hammered in the ass from the Canadian retailers by paying double or triple for Guns or Metal bodies is, well typical I guess, anything I can do to avoid that raping I will, sorry getting off topic.

Maybe we just got lucky with the whole buy-airsoft deal?

The P226 should have a heavier kick as it's not the compact version of the 2 guns. As far as I know the slides and respective internals are interchangable as they have the same lower half.

How would I modify the spring to make for a heavier kick?

and BIGMEDCIN, I didn't even know they had any guns like that, all they have now is clearsoft. Wish I had an opportunit to get them then. They told me that they will be getting the ICS and TSD guns back in after the new year as well. Let's Hope.

I have to say though that the Kraken is a GREAT gun. Very Rugged construction, it's got standard AK issues like the rattling front sight (no biggie). The internals are great as they are a CYMA CM.02 gearbox/piston. Never had a jam in the 10000+ bb's Iv'e fired.

You couldn't really get a heavier kick, just a faster recoil.

My 229 is fricking snappy, cause the stock spring is so strong.

I don't know when you got into airsoft, but if it was after april or may of this year you may have been just late on the whole buy airsoft problem. As I have said I've gotten the springer XM-8 and the AEG M14 off of their website. No problems with service, it's all been great. We'll see if they bring more stuff in at the beginning of the new year.

Take a trip into Dave's Surplus in New West. Well worth the time. Take a rag or something with you to clean up the drool once you're in the door.
On a side note, where in Chilliwack do you play?
