The highest I've ever hit with a KSC Glock was 360fps. The only way you can get it up to 400fps is if you use red gas, and in order to do that, you'd have to spend more money to reinforce several other parts.
Trying to shoot 400fps with a pistol is ridiculous. |

what rof do you need to bruise someone whos standing 10m/5m from you? with the absence of wind. since i came from an ebb and those things shoot at around 180 fps and it didnt even hurt much when someone shot me in the back, i only felt a small sting for 3 seconds.
btw, getting verified on monday by redneck and receiving my credit card in about a week or two, so i'm pretty much waiting now but in the meantime i want to find out more. cheers, Andrew Last edited by unused123; July 17th, 2007 at 20:06.. |

What ROF?
1 round per week. Or do you mean what velocity? A bone stock Marui AEG shooting a 0.25g BB at 250fps is very capable of severely bruising someone (especially on a knuckle, or nail) and even breaking teeth. It can break skin as well if a soft exposed area is hit close range. Of course, it also depends on the target. Some are more receptive to damage than leather skinned warriors.

Well, he lives in Scarborough, so he obviously wants to use it to bruise people at 5-10m. So it'll most likely happen on the TTC RT system or something, y'know, close range, while whispering in his victim's ear "gimme yo' wallet." And if they start running, he can pick them within 10 metres of them running away...
... why else would he ask such stupid questions? |

no no i was just giving an example, since if it cant even bruise someone in that range then the opponent most likely wouldnt even be able to feel it at 50m, right?
Andrew edit: i htink i have gotten enough responses from everyone already thanks everybody, all your replies have definitely helped me come up with a conclusion. Last edited by unused123; July 18th, 2007 at 00:20.. |

You typically won't get a bruise from airsoft--You get welts (and less likely if you're wearing alot of clothing / gear). You'll pretty much always feel an airsoft hit, even with a 150 FPS gun (Unless it hits your kit, then you will probably hear it). -VM |

You know on the TM catalogue, it says that their AEP flies over 150feet(50meters).
