I think they may be talking about using the gas M700 striker springs as that would probably fit if cut down.
I really haven't tortured tested mine much since it's upgrades but it's running fine off a 7.4v 800mah lipo. I'll still have to see if my mechbox gets ripped to shreds in the long run. |
