I have the"G&P M-4 Commando"which I purchased
this summer from 007,the only issue with this AEG
is mine was a little to hot(shooting at about 405to425FPS).
After I put a lighter spring in it it is now at a safer
FPS (about 325)and it does not sound like the mechbox is
going to fly apart. As for the mags I use TM,Star and G&P
with no problems feeding. The M-4 Commando now
has fired about 2500 rounds with no problems.

Redwolf has changed their site layout? in the G&P Section so far, havent looked at anything else yet.

can someone recommend a good charger/discharger for the special Nic-Cad battery it uses?

There's nothing special about it. It's just a battery in a different shape.

It's also quite likely NiMh. For some reason a lot of sites list it as NiCad, but on the battery itself, it's NiMh.

I have both the M733 Commando (Marines) & the M4 (Colt). I found that out of the box it was at about 370 fps for both. Yes they both needed lube, almost non-existent. The next issue I ran into was the pistons in both broke apart after 3-5 games, however the rest of the internals are very good, except the M733's tappet issue.

Overall a good gun, just some teething (piston - ) issues.

diff shape = special in this case

yea redwolf lists it as NiCad, hopefully its NiMh, my family has lost 2 cellphones to the memory effect.
Still needing a charger suggestion.

I run two G&P NiCad's first is a 9.6 1700mAh and a 9.6 2200mAh and yes they are NiCad but I have seen the NiMh for them, you just have to make sure of what your ordering! As for chargers,a few buddys and my self have been running the Piranha from DuraTracks. The nice thing with this charger is it charges both types of cells for a reasonable price. The only problem I'v had with NiMh cells is when running a M120 spring,it will not even turn the spring over, but the NiCads seem to have no problem with this. And the NiMh I was running was a 9.6 1400mAh,it should have had the power but it didn't.

I was going to get verified soon, and see how much it would cost for ASCA to order it for me.

Im ordering one from A&A airsoft, he will get them (ORDER) from redwolf first week of jan.
My price is (i think) 800 bucks plus S&H. Thats a pritty good price probaby cheaper then ASC. The gun itself is 470 usd i think plus 50 for shipping plus handling fees. so your looking at 550 or so with everything in USD. Tell me if you get it cheaper from asc, lets see what kinda deal we can get
