I think you're thinking of PFC guns. I think the Hudson M1 uses CO2 to power the whole blowback and shell-ejection thing. IIRC, it doesn't shoot BBs. It just ejects the shells...

sorry for bringin up an old thread, but i figure this would be a good thing to add.

i was just cheking on redwolf and they now have metal clips for the garand!
so now you can get that uber sweet ping sound

I got the metal clips for it. Doesn't give you that ping noise as they are too thick to vibrate and make that noise. But they do sound alot better and are more durable.

It has nothing to do with how they look. And it has nothing to do with the casings. As a BASIC rule, if a replica fires a projectile, its ok. If it doesnt fire anything, then it is bad.

Yes, and there are other exceptions as well, thats why I said as a basic rule. Meaning, without getting confusing, this is a simple explanation that covers the topic at hand, while ignoring the stuff that doesnt apply.
