I mean like if it is big and if it is going to get any bigger ?
How will it be compared to a 226 or 1911? |

The after market support?
aka the amount of parts. |
April 14th, 2015, 18:39 | #38 |
There's not as much after market support as a P226, and definitely not as much as a 1911.
There's replacement parts and upgrades you can do, but you're not going to go to a store and find 70 different grips, and 30 different slides, and a plethora of different triggers. If you like the feel of the gun, you can keep most of it stock. Most of the mods for 1911s are to build race guns, or to look pretty. There's enough support to keep your gun running. There's not enough support to find mass produced diamond encrusted grips with your favourite hockey team's logo on it. |

Alright that's enough....
This the most rhetorical question I have ever seen on this forum. You're asking us to predict the future for you. Well... I predict the that the weather in Kingston will be nicer tmrw. How's that? We should just buy you a crystal ball or something stupid like that. Then you can ask all the stupid questions you want regarding whatever you feel is so important about your HK45 and all other airsoft related queries. In fact, ask it whatever you feel like asking. But i'll warn you though, the accuracy of it's predictions is very questionable at best. Depends how bright the bulb is inside. Or would you like a Personal Psychic??? You're too excited about your gun. We get that. But asking impossible questions like these just makes you look like an idiot. Do what we all do: Keep your goddamn ears to ground, read a bunch of shit and wait it out. News is news. It gets around to the people who is willing to have an open ear. Personally, if you were worried about aftermarket support, you shouldnt have bought a gun freshly off the design table. What you should have done is gone for the king of all Pistols. The tried and true 1911. It's as lefty friendly as your HK45. All the controls are almost the exact same. And if you were worried about gas consumption and all that bullshit, you should've bought a double stack 1911. These two platforms receive A LOT of attention from manufacturers. And rightfully so. There are literally hundreds of set ups to be had. You can go from open to standard set ups in mear seconds with a simple slide swap. They are the most robust and accurate pistols for years. So quit asking this question. We are NOT the INDUSTRY's manufacturers. We members of an online forum just like you. Now Some one lock this thread before I rip on him some more....

By double stack 1911 do you mean hi capa? LEL. Even the double stack tm 1911s, cant go through the entire mag due to the gas resovior being single stack

ANYwyas, I hear that more upgrades are coming for the HK 45 so I am not so worried about that anymore.
Also the HK 45 is a new design so I trust that more then the single stack 1911s which have horrible gas effiency. |

Double stacks are wildly gas efficient and has the ability to keep gas consumption down. Ones that i build can clear nearly 2 stacks on a single charge. It's all in the installation and taking care of the little things. You cant buy parts and then half ass the installation. Airsoft just doesnt work that way. You can buy the most expensive piece of equipement out there and still get shitty functionality if you dont do things the right way. But anyways, there's no point in me continuing this. Opinions are opinions. I'll politely bow out and let this go to whereever you decide to lead it. I've said my piece.

TM doesnt make "Double stack" mags for single stack 1911s.... Their " single stack" mags hold 28 rds but, hold the same amt. of gas as any other MEU 1911 pistol would.

What so "new" about it? What did Marui re-design? The BBU mech? The Hammer mech? The only thing "new" to that gun is the hop up unit and how easy it is to separate from the outerBarrel. That part is quite ingenious. But from everything, the mag design and concept is largely the same as a Double stack mags (not only the hi capa). In fact, the HK45 mag is using the deagle magazine valve. Even the blowback unit is not a new design. It using a 5-7 piston cup designfor a piston head and a standard Marui floating valve system. So, What is sooo new about this design internally apart from the inclusion of the safety?
