It did! Thanks.
I just purchased my Scott Pursuit Mask today locally, very similar to your mask (however changing the lens was a pain). I am going to install two fans like yours (however one will be drawing air out, and one blowing down). I have one question, are those 28 AWG wires? or 24?

Yes 28awg!
The wires provided with the fans. The battery pack is 24awg i think. 28 is plenty enough for the current that pass thru. I placed somewhere a small connector so i can detach or change from the AAA or AA pack. |

Sweet.
Someone said to use 3.7lipo AA battery, would that be overkill?

Not overkill but not a so good idea too!
standard rechargeable or not rechargeable will be just fine. LIPO don't like to be overdischarge. Cheap AA rechargeable cell don't care about it (the fan will stop before being overdischarged) not the lipo. AA cell can be found anywhere and charge in about any good and cheap chargers. |

I'd be curious if that reducer below the fan is available on it's own? I find with some of the computer fan kits that use 25-30mm fans is that they don't always sit right on top of the goggles depending on which goggles you have.
Could probably get a friend with a 3D printer to make something. |

Finally my parts arrived from China,
Big mistake on my fan - http://www.ebay.com/itm/290881774636...84.m1497.l2649 (this is however, one of the slimmest 25mm fan I can find, at 7mm) - note I got the 1.35 CFM (airflow) - which is less than half of your 3.0 fan. Very little air coming through. Looks like I will order directly from your link. For those DIY'ers, please check the airflow before purchasing the fan. My fan felt more like a mosquito buzzing around your ear, rather than wind blowing in your face. I forgot to mention that I purchased CAT CRAP - it does work. Played a game without fogging (full face mask) with just the CRAP. Thanks for the recommendation

You don' need a lot of cfm. As long as there is continuous fresh air flow, your goggles won't fog.
Also with the higher cfm fans, you can reduce the fan noise by using less voltage. |
