they're perfectly fine. if you feel like spending more money, go right ahead.

their not without their faults (and there are definitely a couple of things to avoid) but there's just not any reason to spend more if you can tinker.

I'm not sure what you mean. The SHS/Lonex parts are cheaper than the Modify parts; at first, I was confused as to why you were recommending a lower-grade brand, but upon further research I found that SHS is indeed superior to Element and Modify.

And what parts are not to be bought in my list? You mentioned some things were to be avoided in your post.

I meant on other brands, sorry.. SHS parts are fantastic.

nothing on your list in particular

current SHS bevel gears are stripping left and right, but it's going to be remedied really soon.
also they make a cylinder head with only an o-ring for a buffer, so avoid that like the fricking plague. (they make one with a normal rubber buffer, but it's out of stock all the time)
3 tooth pistons are really thin and not quite all that strong. if you use an M80 or something like that, feh.
the clear polycarb pistons tend to shatter (the opaque ones are a whole hell of a lot better anyway)
their bearings aren't the greatest things in the world, but anything short of ceramic isn't really worth it anyway.

also your mileage may (and probably will) vary. buying parts and just plugging them in often doesn't work.

Don't need a bevel

Buying the opaque blue full steel light piston

Not buying Bushings

Buying Lonex Polyoxymethylene Piston Head

Fully aware. I'll try to get it right :P

Thanks a lot for the info!
