also the addition of a silencer gives you the option of adding a longer inner barrel (had a VSR tight bore chopped to length)

The MK23 shoots farther than stock AEG's.

With the VSR barrel did you chop it to the length of the silencer or about how far? Part of the goal is to still keep it quiet.... would say going half way through the silencer still keep it silenced?

Im referring in general, most players do not buy pistols hoping to outrange AEG's. They are mostly used when your primary is either down, or is too big.

How hard is it to swap barrels lol?

Also will any vsr tight bore fit on it or are there any other modifications needed?
If i get it i may just chop one to about half the length of the silencer to still get the silencing action out of it..

Will a silencer work better if there are more chambers rather than straight foam (foam ring space ring spwaceect)

Yes and we're not talking about "other pistols", we're talking about the MK23.

Most airsoft silencers/supressors are just foam filled.

Would a shorter one be just as effective on the mk23 in terms of sound suppression or does it need the full length to get the best suppression

haha fair enough, ok last Q on it.. (for now) if i did an extended barrel say 1/3-1/2 down the silencer would it be much louder then stock/silencer? or for all intensive purposes the same

also will any vsr barrel work for the mk23?

What weight of bbs/type of gas do you guys run in it...

Very true, the included one just looks plain awesome.

And like I said before, the silencer doesn't make a HUGE difference in sound. The gun isn't even loud to begin with because it has no blow back.

Best thing to do? Buy one, try it out yourself. I'm sure someone's said that before already too. Don't worry, you'll like it..it's awesome.

EDIT:
Didn't see your last post but as for the inner barrel only going 1/3 or 1/2 down the silencer, it shouldn't make a huge difference. You're barely going to be able to tell if at all.. and the guys 20 feet downrange from you? Definitely won't hear it.

As for the VSR-10 barrels, I dunno.
