sage boots are good, dirty (or camo paint ) the helmet...
and in the first pic the pants seem a different color...perhaps just the lighting.
A few things:
-get some US flags on the vest + uniform
-Avoid black..it does not go well with ACU unless doing a SWAT thing.
-maybe add some other stuff to the OD vest, the stuff out of iraq always looks messy not brand new, but you guys all in all have good looking kits!

Get rid of the OD. If you are going for an older ACU look, add woodland instead or a mix of 3 colour pouches etc.

My main concern is the OD vest. Is it ok to wear it with ACU ?

No. Not if you are going for a real army impression. Aren't the sage boots airforce? You need an acu cover for your helmet too. Unless you are going for a Seal impression in acu...but I would still ditch the OD vest even for that look.

If you still want green instead of a tan, khaki, or CB go and pick up some Ranger Green(RG), it looks great with acu. Get a helmet cover in ACU. And you will look even more fantastic. And if your doing a SEAL impression you would have to get Khaki/coyote tan or coyote brown instead of the OD, but you wouldn't need a helmet cover.

When using ACU I find it's best to have all ACU everything, the only solid color I've found to work well with ACU is foliage green, because it's a color that's in ACU already.
And camelbak makes a foliage green vest I had one, it's super nice!

KNIVEZS since when where you part of the 2nd Infantry Division? I'm not trying to start a fight or anything.... but I wouldn't wear that patch unless you rightfully earned it... just saying.

He's probably not, but he's making an impression. People dont bitch out paid actors in films when they are told to dress up like an american soldier, patches and all, even in replicated identity (Black hawk down for example).
So why should we be? Let him just wear the patch, he paid for it as he's making an impression that he likes and possibly in respect to the division he's replicating.

Its just a game, leave it at that.

He probably hasn't gone through basic either so he shouldn't wear arpat, right?
It's just a uniform, as long as nobody wears the patches in public its no big deal

Lets not go here. Its just an impression....a damn good one I might add, makes me wish I didn't sell my arpat vest....I use coyote brown with my ACU stuff.
