Element Ultra Torque Motors are the best value to performance motor. They are amazing, neodym magnets just like systema magnum, I have zero trigger lag on pulling a M120 spring!

Where can I buy said motors! And how is the battery consumption on them? Also how do they sound? Is there excessive motor whine or anything?

I use:
Prom M120 Bearing piston head bearing spring guide 11.1v 15C 1800mah lipo HornBill MOSFET from RSOV No motor whine at ALL! you know that "thump" sound you get when the spring is already compressed and you just release it? That's all the sound I hear! Oh, and I'm using stock CYMA gears too(reshimmed)! It's honestly the most amazing $30 I spent on AEG upgrade ever haha(From Ehobbyasia ) http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-p...mpson-aeg.html I'll take a video by next week Last edited by Skladfin; March 9th, 2010 at 15:50.. |

Skladfin: What kind of performance are you getting with that set up? Specifically, how hot are you shooting?
Im curious, as Im thinking that I will be limited to M100's as anything higher than 326fps/1 Joule (not sure on the fps exactly) is considered Illegal here : / |

ahh, im at chronoing at 395~397 FPS after the spring settled in after few games.
if you are using M100, that's even better, you won't hear ANY motor whine at all(Assuming you're using a battery that's as powerful as a Lipo). Last edited by Skladfin; March 10th, 2010 at 03:22.. |

I think I will be switching up to Lipo. One of my team mates found a RC store next door to one of the local Airsoft shops that sells Lipo batteries for half the price as the Airsoft shop. (apparently its where the Airsoft shop buys theirs and then turns around and sells them at a significant mark up!)
