I'd say the NS2 system is superior to the TM system, if only because it is designed to be a superior system. The NS2 is built to drive a metal gun out of the box, the TM system is designed to drive a plastic gun. It's very impressive how well the TM system works with metal kits, but the fact remains that that's pushing the system well beyond its original configuration.
Having used the KWA NS2, it is certainly impressive. It produces very strong recoil and higher FPS despite being a heavy slide, full metal pistol, while TM with full metal kits can be quite the gas hog and sometimes unable to fire its default magazine capacity. KWA just needs to get a better hopup in there, which I'm sure they're doing. It is unlikely that the slide material used in the KWA is superior to the top aftermarket slide lines for TM pistols. Of course, it's impossible to say without some material laboratory analysis. However, I've never seen KWA claim to use superior material to SD and friends, so I'm guessing this is just some fanboy overblowing KWA with fantastic claims. The very notion that KWA use a stock material that is superior to high quality aftermarket body kits probably gives TM fans massive headaches.

No he sounds like he's talking out of his ass and just randomly getting facts right.
If you shoot enough rounds downrange, you're bound to get something on target at least. TM is NOT among the worst. In fact do you know who had a hand in designing TM's GBB system? Tanio Koba (The "god" of Airsoft Engineering). It went through a lot of revisions before it went through to mass production so you know that it's pretty much the best available (at that time). Now, I don't know but TM cannot be considered among the worst. I urge you to take a look at the KWA "SPECWAR" gun. I believe it was demonstrated at ShotShow and there's a video on you tube. Also, here's some tips on figuring out if a video review is good or not. If thePerson says "um" or "so" a lot = probably crap If it has a "Scientific style" of testing = probably good (measured out distances, chrono testing, very structured review split into definite logical parts, and also doesn't jump back and forth between different "sections" of the review) If it looks like it was done "on the fly" with no preparation done beforehand = probably crap If it looks legit and very well edited/filmed = probably good (no webcam shit or anything here) If they use "from what I can tell", "I think ", or anything that might make you think they're not too sure of themselves = probably crap If they sound like or are a "screecher" = probably crap (or possibly a crap mic but either way it's probably crap) If they sound "professional" (doesn't mean old, just professional sounding, ie. the difference between a construction worker talking and a CEO or manager talking) = probably good

Pre System 7 KSC USP is not nearly as hard kicker as the system 7 one IMO. KSC learned from their Glocks and put that system on the rest of the gun. The pre-system 7 Sigpro is also one of the weakest kicking GBB I've owned. I'd say other than the Glocks, KSC's gas system was not to the TM level until the System 7/NS2 came about....

Any opinions on the KSC 1911 fullmetal system 7? I have not had much luck finding info or reviews..

KSC has lovely plastics, as compared to TM's (often) shitty metal external bits. That's my 2 cents.

So how about the ksc m9 in comparison to ksc glocks.

ksc glocks can take a bunch of real bits, like mag release, and sights. can't speak for any other ksc gun.

I'm sure TM gbb pistols are great, but would you guys recommend a WE 1911a1 gbb? I'm planning to buy one, as my sidearm & hopefully to use it in some pistol games.. thanks |

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.
|
no, WE 1911s are total shit

Slow mo.

WE guns tend to have terrible barrel and gun wobble. The parts don't fit snugly like they should. I would stay away.

TM or WA (Note the A in that = Western Arms not WE (Wei Tech)).
TM being one of the "standard" run of the mill ones and the WA being nicer but more pricey and usually limited runs are made (a lot of WA's are built off the double stack 2011 platform (ie. "race guns" for IPSC) though but they do offer some 1911's as well as a few different incarnations of the M92F). Also note that WA mags are a bitch to buy since they're pricey as well so IMO in Canada unless you're a collector, have large amounts of disposable income or something then it's probably better to get the TM for playing.

Before you start comparing styles of guns (glock vs usp vs 1911, etc) you have to stop and think about YOU. Not everyone has the same hand size or the same grip. Get the guns in your hand(s) and decide which one fits better for you, both holding it and holding it in a shooting position. That will help you narrow down the type of gun and from there you can work on figuring out which company makes the better type.
Personally I love the 1911's, but I shoot SIG's and USP's way better due to the ergonomics of those guns compared to my hand grip. |

Personally I like the 1911 style, I feel more comfortable with it's grip..
