$550CAD sounds a tad low because you need to ship this with a carrier (adds $$$)

EMS won't ship it, it's too big ... not sure about regular post either.

This is what I was told from my supplier in Hong Kong.
oh well 700-800 whatever, if it's also fieldable, I WILL own one!

seriously, I would love if anybody was able to bring that particular piece in. I will save 2 years for it I dont care haha

Even if it is L96 compatible, whats the base used? Is it a WELL/TSD bullshit? Or is it actual Maruzen parts used?

i guess for under 200usd, i don't think we will see good qaulity parts inside this beast.. Who cares even if change all the internal the shell if it's not too cheap metal worth every penny for it..

I would take one too..

i had been thinking about this one since 2005.

I have seen a few of these guns in use here in Scotland and used one myself, they have the initial WOW factor and people seem to think that because the real version is amazing then the Airsoft one will be really good, but that is just not the case, its no better than any other Airsoft sniper rifle, even just going through a forest carrying this thing was a pain in the butt.
I have used the new A&K Dragunov SVD airsoft sniper rifle with PSO-1 Dragunov Scope which was lower priced than the snow wolf and it was more usable.
So far I have filmed two different players using the Snow Wolf but never used the video, there is something about the sound of this gun in use that does not sound good, more nerf gun than Airsoft gun, I would imagine anyone who does film this gun in some real Airsoft action for YouTube will dub music over the top of it simply to make it appear better than it is.
If anyone is still considering buying a Snow Wolf I would advise you get one ASAP, all the Chinese Airsoft gun makers are finished, they may start again but with the moulds for most guns destroyed any Chinese guns from JG, AGM, A&K etc that remain in stores or warehouses will sell out kinda quick and retailers may not be too slow in adding a few $ as the guns become very difficult to locate.

glad to hear from somebody that have actually handled it! so apart from the noise it makes, what are the pros and cons of this rifle?

is the body solid? does it shoot consistently?

I have seen this gun; it is pretty darn big (and heavy for that matter). Pretty powerful, and I am assuming probably pretty accurate as well. The thing that really turned me off is how expensive it is (especially for a jing gong). Yes, it is one of the cooler looking spring airsoft sniper rifles for sure, but it is nothing that I would ever buy for myself. Just my 2 cents, for what it is worth.

as scout said, people think this gun because its counter part is all big boom amazing this gun will be more powerfull... ... get that out of your head, thats like assuming a desert eagle will blow away a glock because of round size.

There is someone here that has one, I dunno his forum name, it looked alright but that charging handle looked really flimsy.

and I am sorry for that much weight as a sniper, ok yah sit still more but you still gotta move to your location, I would rather a light gun with the same internals. Kinda like adding a few cement blocks to your firefly because you heard a ferrari is faster.

johjoh and Huge thanks for the comments guys, glad you like the videos.
Re the Barrett, one of our players at POW has had one for a while and I caught up with him last Sunday 29th November, I stumbled over him and his Scout near the end of a game where they were defending the outskirts of a large base and so I filmed them because I remembered that the guys on this forum wanted to see one in use, so its on YouTube as of now 1st December.
One the same day another regular player called Mac had his new RealSword SVD with him and to my mind that was much better than the Snowwolf, but its always good too see all these different guns on site.
