Whoa! That's a lot of reading, and for me that won't happen tonight Just something I noticed fast. Why in god's name would you need a metal hop-up? Yeah I've had an issue with the modify dual o-ring cylinder head. I had the opposite problem. The little pegs that hold the cylinder in place actually are WAY TO LARGE. I had to shave them down (very risky business).

Also could you PLEASE share the dimensions (internally) of the fore grip rail.

These will fit perfectly for 2x MAG magazines clamped together. Sadly they're china quality, and the velcro will only last you for aprox. 1 year at best. Oh and you need to remove the wall inside by cutting the stiches. Shouldn't take long, but I'd rather pay some extra $$ for something like these:

The foregrip RIS I got didn't have much more space then the original foregrip. The compartment is slightly less curved at the upper part. You'll still fit batteries like the 7.4v lipos made for Lama helos. If I get my hands on two, I'll hook them up in parallel and see if they can deliver enough juice. I bought one Mystery 7.4v 900mAh 20C lipo, and it absolutely s*cked! I'm guessing it's peak discharge-rate is barely 20C. For those that doesn't wanna mess around with lipos like that, there are better options that'll absolutely fit inside:

I opened mine up to check on a rattling piece inside, only to find 5-6 peices of clear and black plastic inside. The plastic piece inside the upper receiver (serves 3 functions: rear sight support, stock support & holds the spring for the ejector port [hop-up]) was in pieces. See image - sorry, drawn from memory

I took off the remaining chunks and MacGuyvered some washers so that the rear sight would go back on solid.

Then I noticed that almost all of the screws were overtightened - causing cracks in the clear plastic everywhere. Some small areas were completely broken.

I have accepted the fact that my gun is rendered useless. And I'm out $200.00
I will never buy clearSoft again.

Bummer, as it was my first A/S gun.

Yeah it's a sad how badly they assemble the guns over in china. That's also probably why RSOV.com started selling cloned weapons disassembled. They've posted that the guns cannot be made into a complete gun, but looking at some of those pictures, I'm pretty sure that's a complete gun you've got there. If you find a way to get that into Canada, you would make quite the bargain. Just beware of the fact that these guns can't take much disassembly. Mine started to wear out after quite a few disassembles, and I figure it served it's time well and could maybe do as a spare-part gun now. I'm seriously considering a SIG552 from ICS or G&P.

I cannot get said parts from the US distributer. So I've decided I'll just paint it "all purdy like" and hang it on the wall.

Next time: I'll wait it out and buy an decent one 2nd hand.

Yea, I noticed it to be a slight problem, but only due to overtightening. I managed to crack the second (rear) screw bay, mind you I also fell full-force directly on top of my gun.

As far as repairing it goes, I suppose you could bondo (SP) it back together, not sure how well that'd fair, although worth a shot if you're somewhat eager. If you're eager and don't mind spending a few bucks, you could also pick up a plastic body that someone is selling, just make sure to inquire if that piece is actually included or not before-hand. I wouldn't recommend trying to buy that piece alone though. Odds are it'd come from overseas, and the shipping would be way too much for the value of the part itself.

Do NOT try to jam the handguards down. Go back to that screw, and tighten it just a bit more. Try again with your handguards. If they still do not fit, retighten. Rinse and repeat until you can get your handguards in. Once you get them in, I’d advise you tight it by ¼ of a way if possible to ensure it’s in place. If it’s already very tight, do not tighten it any more.


FYI: What I did was gorilla glue the broken piece, then I used a very small washer (r/c car kind of small washer). as I carefully and repeatedly pressed the lower guard in place and carefully taking down the imprinted areas with a Dremel. It's now a lot more secure and the lower guard fits it place.

Is the flashhider unscrewable? because on my sig I can't make it move.
Do you know where I can buy a metal receiver or at least just the lower part in canada?
the plastic is cracking from everywhere and if it stays like this,the whole gun will fall into pieces.8-O
