I cant put it in rounds... but its well worth it vs GREEN GAS can @ 30+$

Lol, no i meant a 8 oz green gas, i already have it, dont have an adapter yet so i got an 8oz green gas can for $20, just wondering how long ittle last.

for sure propane is best. I think the airsoft community really felt soo betrayed and scammed by green gas lol.(judging from the way most ppls talk about green gas)

Green Gas is a ripoff as it will cost you 10 times more for 5 times less shots. If thats worth it to have your gun smell like girl-farts then go for green gas. If you wanna spend less money (over time you will save hundreds of dollars) then get the AI kit and use Propane.

ok so i got this shock oil and this graphite grease for my aeg and gbb maintenance, are they any good/acceptable?

That graphite lube looks like a tube of dry graphite. It's a colloidial form which smears out pretty nice on metal parts, but it's very messy. It leaves a dark streak on anything you transfer it to so be careful cleaning up after application. I like to mix graphite with a blob of white lithium grease to make it more controllable. Apply it sparingly to metal and sliding plastic surfaces and work the gun a bunch of times. Disassemble and wipe it off with a paper towel leaving a very fine dry surface which is very low friction and doesn't adhere to abrasive sand. It's a bit of a pain, but it performs very well.

I find heavier silicone oils do not provide very good lubrication altogether. Silicone is pretty much useless for metal-metal contact because it has no film strength. It also can adhere to sand or dust making an abrasive gun smegma which increases wear which is why I went through some significant pains to find 1.5wt oil to include with my GunGas kits.

Very low viscosity oil does not foul barrels as much as heavier oils. It tends to aerosolize and blast out down barrel instead of accumulating and getting drippy.

What oil would you(madmax) suggest i use for cleaning a gbb? This includes most metal parts and plastic(I keep hearing amsoil is good) and where would i be able to buy the oil? I know to only use 100% silicone, preferably bought from airsoftparts.ca for magazine maintenance. I also found other weights for oil in the store i bought from, i found i think from 15 wt to 40 wt silicone shock fluid. If not silicone oil for cleaning metal to metal what would be best?

I degrease metal parts (which aren't solvent sensitive) in varsol. Degreasing before relubing removes old lube and wear particulate buildup. Plastic and rubber parts can be washed with water and mild detergent.

1.5wt oil is very difficult to find. Basically I gave up on hobby suppliers and source my oil from industrial supply. It costs me a buttonne because I have to buy it in a 400lb drum which is basically a years supply. The lightest silicone oil I've ever come across at a hobby store is 5wt which is still a fair bit more viscous.

hi guys! sorry to bring this up again, still thinking of getting a propane adapter and im just shopping around. I saw this Sapien Arms propane adapter the plastic one you can purchase form capital arms, its cheaper than ai and it also includes silicone oil.

Pls. don't keep pushing the ai adapter idea, i know its canadian and i know its good, i see it everywhere. I just want to check out other options pls give me an honest opinion. Abs plastic seems sturdier and cheaper too.

I know you asked us to not push the AI gungas kit, but why? its the best option on the market, comes with 2 adapter heads, a duster adapter, and enough silicone to last forever, and is really quite reasonably priced

I have used every generation of the AI adapter and there is nothing flimsy about any of the plastic made ones. You do not need to put them through a barrage of shit, you just fill your mags, cap it off and leave it at the staging area. AI is the original and most reliable and if anything goes wrong (which I have almost never heard of anything going wrong) MadMax would be more than willing to help you out. Were not just pushing it because its Canadian, we push it because we all use it and swear by it, so we are giving you our opinion on the matter. If you want a reliable adapter get the AI one. If you wanna just get whatever you wanna get then get it.

oh no i have no doubts about ai, i go to a game its all only ai lol. sounds good to me! imma order a set. Just looking for reviews or other ones really, kept looking for reviews all i see is AI, other ones i see are either too expensive or obsolete.

agreed, good local shit!!!... my ai adaptor (the red plastic one) still works wonderfully after AT LEAST 6 propane tanks, and the silicone... lol the bottle isn't at half yet...
