9.6 V minis will fit fine in the 249
heck, even nunchuk/butterfly 9.6 batts will fit.
9.6 large will NOT fit without mods.

Team mate of mine has an A&K 249 Para and he's pretty rough on it and very heavy on the trigger. I do all his gundoc work and I'm impressed how well it's holding up. I haven't compared one to a CA body but I'd buy an A&K if I had some extra cash.

Batteries:
He can hold a 9.6v nunchuck in the foregrip. He then wired it to store a large (9.6v I think) battery in the box mag - highly recomend this and it's easy to do (there's even a second tube beside the BB feed tube to run the wires on the box mag).

He also baught a spare CA mechbox so if one went down in the field he could simply swap in the new complete box (it's that easy!). Both mechboxes are virtually identical and both have the quick spring change feature, which should be on every mechbox in my opinion!

Had the same hopup problem like all others - few ways to fix it easy enough.

9.6 large types do fit!!!! in the MKII (not para). I own the A&K version and been usin the G&P 9.6 3300 mah large in it for bout a year..no modifications to the stock justt needed to make a small to big connector..I'll be it it's tricky to get in and out but can be done..

Sorry man, but you have to get age verified before you can have access to all the hardware. Contact an age verifier from your region. It doesn't take too long to get av'd and its worth it in the end.

victual7 - stop asking. It's against forum rules to ask to buy guns outside of the AV wanted section of the classifieds. And PMing / emailing people won't get you any farther. You keep ignoring the fact that people keep telling you that you have to be 18 and age verified. That's not going to change. If you want to request a gun, then get yourself AVed and you can see what's for sale (SAWs come up pretty regularly), or you can put a request in the wanted section.

And if you're not 18, then you're out of luck until you are.
