The build quality is depend on the which brand you want to buy.

Tokoyo Marui is ABS body and the build quality is pretty good.

Classic Army is full metal but it's somehow hard to get one.

Jing Gong is platic body as TM as well and it's 100 % clone and aftermarket part will fit on there as TM, but it need a little work on mechbox for long time usage.

CYMA is good for money, you get what you pay for and it might be the last choice for me to get it but still it's 100 % TM clone, aftermarket part will work on that too.

The rest, I don't know at all.

Cheers !

The CYMA mp5 is a G&G clone. Full metal, moving bolt, very nice guns.

Try to avoid Well AEGs, from what I've seen and read, they are below JG by a long shot.

There are some TM Mp5 somewhere in there hunt it down quicktime they are good stuff

ICS is also good too cause it has the split gearbox capability in which you can pop the top off to change the spring easily without messing with the gears

Ah, you were entirely right if you were telling him about the old cm027s. I was thinking about the cm041s, which are excellent.

Well is pretty much the bottom of the barrel. Not like you can't take a Well and get it working reliably, but it would be cheaper to just buy a JG and use it as-is. And the JG will look better externaly than any Well would.

I wouldn't trust any G&G gun that has a CA, TM or G&P counterpart, but if it's your only choice, like the UMG, then go for it.
IMO, go for the UMG, V3 gearbox is rock solid, sturdy gun, and because it's a V3 it shoots DAMN far and DAMN accurate with minor upgrades (talking from experience here)
