problems with ebaybanned?

Two orders, mucho fail. On the second one they forgot to send half my order, but after some a lot of haggling I managed to secure a store credit worth the missing merchandise.

I'm not even sure I want to use it, third strike would probably end up in EB getting used kitty litter delivered to their office.

All these bad threads about EbayBanned, and lots of people think that they're all good?

I MIGHT buy something from there again if they're the only ones that carry it.
But otherwise, hell no. I'll gladly pay more for stuff and get it in 3 or 4 days than wait a few weeks and go through a bunch of shit.

Not worth it, I think a lot of people buy from them because:

- their stuff is cheap / affordable
- free shipping
- they knock off stuff quickly (LOOK! It's the new Eotech 2000 for $99!!!)
- due to the lower prices, people seem to overlook the quality control of the products.

I just got one of their Eotech 553 knockoffs and I wasn't that impressed:
- the battery door doesn't fully close
- the battering springs were bent (and one is going to fall off shortly)
- the reticule is a bit blurry
- the throw levers are loose and wobbly, and they are not that secure on all 3 of my M4 bodies. On two, I can actually slide the sight back and forth.

Yes, they sell some genuine items, but if I can get that stuff somewhere else with consistent shipping, good communication and customer service - I'd rather buy elsewhere.

I've never understood the reasoning behind this. Yes, they could ship your order in 2 packages and therefore have 2 orders will smaller values...

Or do what other companies do and simply declare a lower value for the package. Shipping in 2 packages simply results in what happened to me - lost / forgotten / missing stuff in my order.

Just put the stuff in 1 box, with a list of items crossed off to show that the packing guy grabbing stock has gotten every item.

its cheeper i belive their shipping is done on weight and the less weight cheeper i belive its like 3 bucks for under 250 grams correct me on the prices as i dont live their but from tlaking and dealing with large ammounts of orders i know its supper cheep!!!

I can't speak for anyone else, but for my part I use them (3 or 4 orders so far, and most likely will continue to since I never had a problem) because in addition to being inexpensive, they carry stuff I just can't find elsewhere (or would have to pay substantially more for, such as a shop in the US which will only ship via the thieves at UPS; double whammy).

Most of the threads started work out just fine from what I have seen. It's usually people that wonder why they only got half their stuff (multiple packages) or it's been two weeks, where is my stuff?. (I don't mind waiting a couple weeks or more, less than that in most cases)I've placed over twenty orders there and never had one problem. That's a pretty good sample of their business if you ask me. In my opinion ebaybanned is a great store! I'd buy more stuff locally but there just isn't the selection.

yea im still waiting for the mags... but i can kind of expect them to find ways to save some money on things like shipping.. because there prices are so low and they pay for shipping that could get prettty expensive for them. im goin to be expecting the mags next tues/wed. i prob willl only use them again if its something less important

They sent me a shipping number a day or two after my mechbox arrived. That and they apparently thought they just shipped it. It took about a month.

finally got my mags in today. just to find out there was only one mag that was in the package. When i clearly stated that i wanted (and payed for) two mags... frustrating
