Well it's not a TM for sure. The motor also suggests JG.

Do you think it was a good choice? JG mp5-sd5 for my first gun?

I think its a jg It looks exactly like a jg. I hope its not a ripped off brand. Also the battery connecters are green. Butt stock rubber , foregrip Rubber.

Do you like the AEG? If you do then it's a decent choice. At least you didn't buy a sniper for your first gun.

I love the gun. Its very comfortable and the plastic VERY strong. the stock is perfect size. But it could use a ris Rail. To put my red dot.

A JG is not a bad choice at all. Plus the SD5 will be very versatile and the quality is almost on par with TM. If you're paranoid, take it to a gun tech to get it cleaned out and stuff and it should rock for a while. It looks like you've been bitten and you'll want more before long. In any case, it looks like you're 22 (from your profile) so get age verified (see the FAQs) and you'll have full access to the sales on this board and see that you actually got a pretty good deal.

In fairness, they all look exactly the same, regardless of brand. The only thing that separates them apart is trademarks, either HK, or from the actual manufacturer.

Yeah man. I hate buying people as a first gun.

You probably have a jg. Good gun. Get an extra battery and have a gun doc open it up for a re-grease and shim job. Then enjoy!
