well if it's such a huge order then that probably explains why its being shipped late?
I think you just answered your own question there |

150lbs? Ok that sounds like a lot of stuff in your order. Perhaps it's taking a long time to gather up all the items?
I've never had any problems with correspondence with EB. However all my orders were small and probably never more than 15lbs. I did find a slight language barrier and you have to really be careful in how you word things. Simple straight to the point with easy words seems best.

A silencer is a restricted item. They've been known to make it through customs, but you may be receiving a letter from the CBSA instead of your package.

Wouldn't they just seize the silencer?

Depends on the customs agent, really. I've heard some will seize the item in question and send the rest on, while others will hold the entire package. Regardless though, if they found one item of contention in your package, even if they do release the rest, it will go through a lot more scrutiny at customs and take longer.

yeah, usually what happens is that customs holds the product, and sends you a notice/letter telling you that you have that your item has been seized... then they will give you a options in which you can choose from. I believe they were:
1) return it to the original shipping address (at the cost of your shipping, and the shipper doesn't have to refund) 2) leave it at customs and have it confiscated 3) Argue with legally (in court) althought thats going to be quite hard... Most of the time, people just chose to leave it seized... |
