Ya, retired my 82 webbing and went for my mesh vest and selected pouched based upon what I need to carry, got that sweet BHI drop leg holster and CamelBak, but it's not a fashionable plate carrier (although I think they are damn sweet though), my rig is peiced together for me and no one else. Then again, I am a bit of a different player than most also. |

The top of his sheath (ok, the bottom of it since it's upside-down) is tied onto his webbing with paracord. The bottom part, under the knife handle, is more than likely taped in place.

seals like all special forces groups wear mission specific gear and weaponery if you can name a piece of kit they can possess it any weapon any gear depends on the mission. tears of the sun had some awesome kit and the old early 90s flick NAVY SEALS had cool black kit for urban night assault (THE RPK IN BEIRUT WAS SICK TOO) but like i said that is what i mean by mission specific. The SR-47 was built for spec ops groups for long term missions so they can pick the mags of there dead opponents instead of toting around 200lbs of ammo.
