I know, but there's actually a couple WA 1911 models :P (and i'd already pointed out my 1911 mags handled green gas)
He mentioned he was getting a metal slide for it... point in case, some models are really hard (next to impossible) to find a slide for (like mine ![]()

I'm using the same sigle stack mags.
I stuck a Guarder 150% recoil spring in (one of these), and it's been fine for several years with the stock slide, since never managed to find a metal slide for it (Striker 45, which uses an Infinity style slide with a bushing on the end) Didn't use the hammer spring that came with it. KA have a 150% spring set, too. You can stick a flow restrictor in there if you want to be really safe (if you dont change the slide)
