just got this e-mail from 007. he gave me some "detail"... why do i feel like the only HG gun that will cost 450$ is the G36C... and 60$ to ship to quebec city, isnt that a bit overpriced(its really a question im not used to shipping cost and things)?.

I remember kos shipped a TM AK-spets for 16$ That was express to Quebec... 60$ seems funky.

I thought it was bad enough that the JG guns were 275 at buyairsoft. Now to see them be 350-450.. my god. I'd personally stick to TM/CA/others for that price.

(I was originally interested.. as I was seriously thinking of getting one from buyairsoft back when they had stock.. and I had no money. But now seeing some of the prices from other dealers.. im glad I chose to stick to normal brands.)

I wanted to buy a jg g36 and the jg m4 from buyairsoft.ca but they just don't seem to have them in soooo, well I got the m4 from A&A the TM, cost me more, like twice but I'm happy,,, I saw a really good review of the jg/ echo 1 on youtube YouTube - Echo 1 M4A1 Firing Report
then I wanted the jg one, but,,, anyhow I got the TM from A&A

For the gearbox....Well the gearbox is ok...all in metal....the only "cheap" thing about it is the little yellow plastique in the interior and that's all....Oh yeah and the fact that the gearbox is FULLY lubrificated when we open it...

Edit : I didn't talk about all Jing Gong weapons but only the G36....I don't know about others...

I took apart my friend's JG G36C (review here), internally JG uses plastic at the same spots that TM or CA does.

If you don't like the price of the guns or shipping then it's simple just don't deal with Ken. He's a good guy and if you don't buy someone else will.

$60 seems a bit steep for shipping?

My MP5 was shipped for $15 or so. Of course it's plastic, but still.

I got my cyma 031 for 175 dollars and know I hear it going around for 350!

China clone guns, even the JG, should not be more then $190. Anymore then that and your getting burned.
The day you paying TM prices for a clone is the day your a stupid consumer.

There are a few unknowns who can get them in.
JG AK 0509,0510 are $180+shipping each
JG G608 G36C are $230 + shipping each

Even at those prices, its still a let down.

lol first it's about 200$ less than a TM, with a almost identical CA gearbox and with like 60 fps more than the TM

I've never met Ken. He probably IS a good guy, but you're getting gouged if you pay that much, and I can say that I would probably not buy from 007.

I think the prices are ridiculous, and I'm entitled to choose not to buy there.

Granted, there aren't many options left, but you're basically blasting plenty of legitimate advice here.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I'm not really advocating TM over a clone, but both are overpriced, one has a proven track record if you're going to pay too much anyways, and there's always other options to look into.


Also, nevermind. Rock that extra 60 FPS. That's quite an increase in FPS, and adds significant value to the package. Probably due to that CA style mechbox. ... :smack:
