I've seen one JG rifle, and not the model you want, so I wont comment on the M16 version.

They may be promising, but they are not there yet. If you want to start in this game then get something proven. It will be worth the price difference in the end. Or go to a game and rent a few different guns. If you cant rent, you can most likely try just by asking.
Then you'll have a far better idea to start with.
